hey paul

well new machine came on thursday. first load cotton 40 sensitive care final rinse started and wouldnt stop filling went all the way to the top of the door flashes E04 called hoover told me to unpug and call currys they got me a new machine on sat morning have done about 7 loads all cottons 40 sensitive care final rinse half hour ago water all the way to the top of the door E04 oh and both machines covered in scratches were the stickers were calling electrician tomorrow to check out electrics on the socket because how can i have a 5 machines that dont work!!! its sending me up the pole

micks,

Calling the electrician would be a good idea, but get prepared that the socket is ok, and that it's up to the machines (all 5 of them)...

I would suggest you (in case you want to keep that model of machine) to insist they come and REPAIR the actual machine, since it wouldn't suprise me if the 3rd one comes like that too. Seems to me like a factory thing.
However the scratches you've mentioned really bug me, probably because I don't understand what and where they are and how did they come up.

Also, for now, try doing maybe some other cycle without sensitive care, there is a high possibility it would finish wash like that normally :)

Your New Washer

Hi Micks1979.

Sorry to hear about the problems with your new machine. When your machine arrived was it covered in plastic like mine?.

I don.t know why your machine is overfilling and showing an error code. Like Dejan said call someone to check over the electrics.

Hope the next one will be ok.

Cheers

Paul

howdy

no problems if idont use sensitive care got 3 loads to do tonight so will keep you posted not called currys yet. electrician said socket is fine but could be surge so to try it with nothing else on dishwasher, oven, or dryer.

hey paul

no plastic on it they took in off in the truck i took stickers of both machines and behind them its covered in scratches.

Micks, that's a Fraud!!!!

hi,
machine should have come to you in plastic board wrapped up with nylon, and that whole packaging also including 3 wooden spines.

I've never heared of ''unpacking the machine in the truck'', and also remooving stickers? why on earth would anyone do that?

I assume that machine's been previously used/returned and that 2nd machine is actually the 1st one with transit bolts back.

I also highly doubt that the scratches can be on identical place on 2machines+I konw for sure that all models in that colour get stickers in factory, so, to be honest, I'm not sure you've got 2 different machines actually.
can you maybe provide more info so we can conclude opposite?

hey

second machine came off the truck then the first one went in i took the bolts out and removed stickers on both machines. paul is the rinse i get apart from the final rinse it just keeps filling up right to the top before it cuts out.

Hi Micks1979.

Sounds like you have had faulty machines. My machine came fully wrapped, it tooks me ages to un wrap the machine.

Hope you get it sorted. Posted a new clip on my youtube.

All the best

Paul

I hope you'll get it sorted out.

Gosh I can now just imagine how angry was I when mine Aqualtis Broke down only after 8 months, and 2 months later they've returned me money back and I got a Candy G+...I can't even imagine how I would feel if I've had 5 faulty machines from 2 completely separate brands.

Let's hope it'll be the 3rd time lucky with Hoover.

yep think im still in shock! lol i still think it has to be something to do with electrics how on earth can i have 5 machines six if you include my dyson though that was nearly 9 years old but when it broke dyson repair guy said he thought the machine must have had a power surge becuse no matter what he did to repair it nothing would work

Hi

Hi Mick1979.

Have you been on UK Whitegoods website. It might mention about error codes. Do hope you get things sorted.

Hi Micks1979

Sorry to hear you're having problems with your 8-Pulse... it sounds to me like a faulty machine though... I can't see how a faulty electric socket could possibly cause this scenario. Your machine looks very stilish with the red cabinets next to it and the black floor... I hope you get it replaced though... I honestly wouldn't accept a single scratch on a brand new machine!

You got me thinking with this overfill thingy when using the 'Sensitive Care' option, I never used it on mine so I wouldn't know whether this would actually be a congenital problem with these machines! I know that the water intake system used by Hoover washers (even the older ones made by Candy) can occasionally trigger a situation similar to yours... but only in exeptional circumstances with highly irregular (intake) water pressure; however, in this case, they should pump out the excess water without halting the cycle with an error code! I deem it's not the case with yours as you had other washers plumbed in there before and you never had any such issues, unless, coincidentally... you water board decided to turn you water supply on and off :-P

I'm confident you'll get better luck with a replacement. Bye now.

cheers haxisfan

the black lg looked even better lol. new machine comes tomorrow third time lucky phoned hoover today the code is flood warning.

Gosh! You're having such a bad luck! It feels like you're cursed! :O
But if the electric plug and circuit are all right I can only think of transients on the line that damage the electronics in some subtle manner!

i now give up

third machine here! covered in scratches first load in neary at the rinse stage if it doesnt work money back one of the lg machines in the space for show only and take washing to work cant be bothered. done my back in pushing this into the space
