New GE appliances in real COLORS?!!

Pam Kuehber over at RR.com has been contacted by GE to canvas viewers as to the possibility of GE making available ranges, fridges and maybe dishwashers in their new Artistry line in a whole new range of gorgeous colors! is so far #1 in the poll being taken there, so head over and vote! The more interest GE sees, the more likely our wants (at least as far as colors) might actually be heeded by a big corporation, for once!

One GE proposal is to make a kind of snap on skin panel for these appliances so they can easily be changed out at will... which sounds like an excellent idea!

Too bad, Smeg only sells a relative small selection of their range in the US. They have a lots of design choices!

Big Chill and Elmira et al

are crazy expensive, Wolf, Bertezzoni (sp) and others also come in colors and are pricy, whereas these GEs would be considerably more affordable to non-wealthy folks.

I voted for orange cos' it wasn't getting enough love (like the yellow too).
