Hi guys

Found this on the site of the company i bought my Speed Queen TOL machine from last year.

It would seem the new top loader with electro-mechanical controls and the 'High Efficieny' option is already on sale.

Personally, i think i prefer my version: at least it has more cycles and extra options.

On the new model: no extra rinse option, no super wash cycle.

Cheers
Leon

HE = Spray Rinse? Looks to me like that, since the regular rinse option has the fabric softener symbol next to it, which usually indicates a deep rinse.

Interesting take on blending old and new technologies together...
The best of both worlds... It needs more cycles though...

According to the brochure...HE cycle water usage varies from 21.4 to 26.2 gallons -Vs- the regular cycles 31.5 to 46.5 gallons of water.
Only the outter tub is porcalin. The top is "Tuff Guard" coated. Is that similar to Maytag's "Dura Cushion" dryer drum coating?
