Help Support :

it's definatly is music to my ears, the sound of quality! they even have belt slippage instead of a clutch for the spin cycle just like the old maytags! grrrrr i want one so BAD!!!! now i know what i am going to do with my next tax refund check! :-) i do need a new daily driver while i restore the filter flo set, they work fine, and i use them as my daily driver but the trans leaks a little oil, going to need a new clutch soon, the dryer needs new drum glides and bearing, new belt tentioner. when i raplace the trans i am going to replace the motor/clutch assembly along with a new pump, she should be good for another 20 years.

I am GAME for the new Speed Queens, eventually I'll have a set added to my collection...

but what puzzles me is the wash action, it's still 210 degree arc, and with four vanes instead of three, you don't see the actual wash action of my solid tub, and the water splashing up during a full load from the agitator indexing, during agitation in a solid tub a little water is overflowed leaving the top inch of the vanes exposed, when this happen water splashes soo much the top and console get wet, and during a medium or small load you can't leave the lid open, then YOU are soaked, and the machine and the floor, and thats whats missing for me in the new ones, granted they can move a good size load, and I like the controls and the larger tub with the spin drain, I would have liked to see a more vigourous wash action and maybe even an aireated fill, now that would be CLASSIC SPEED QUEEN, just modern

but nice the same that it can move a load with out the help of a dual action agitator, I just think it needs to have the vanes a little larger....just a thought!

The SMALL water level setting on these washers is very low, in fact it's only good for a few towels, or several pairs of socks.

The washer's LARGE level can be adjusted either by holding the knob to RESET as the tub is filling, or by adjusting a set screw inside the washer's control panel.
