I was in a second hand place this afternoon and saw a dry iron with a brown Bakelite handle and the cloth cord was wrapped around the handle, front to back as is usually the case. I picked it up to see what kind it was and could only see the temperature dial on the top of the iron body so I looked on the heel rest just below the soleplate and found the brand I posted above.
I also found sort of a rare stereo, I think. It is an RCA built into a cabinet that looks like an Early American hutch with the turntable and tuner in the lower portion and fabric panels on the front of the upper portion for the speakers. I don't quite understand the design, but I saw proof that at least one was made.
