WashTime!!!

Hi Guys, looks like a fab time was had by all, Geoff, love your line up of machines, so pristine...and the Maytag sudz save is all your birthdays come at once, the Maytag model E is the Hotpoint model A over here, must have been some sort of alliance for that one, did Hotpoint USA have the same wringers do you know??

Don, you will have to tell us which old soap powder gave the best "High" and aroma...

Robert, you definately need a lesson in line drying...LOl, funny, I always had you down as a "stretch em out" and let the world see your whitest whites kind of guy...

No lessons necessary Mike, there will be no clothes lines in my future, Neal would kill me at the idea of hanging any "ugly" lines through our backyard and his gardens. And your assumption is correct, I am a "stretch em out" and let the world see your whitest whites kind of guy, just not on the clothesline ;)

"Neal would kill me at the idea of hanging any "ugly" lines through our backyard and his gardens."

Our line is on a retractable wheel attached to the fence so it hides most of the time. I love sheets that are line dried. So nice-smelling and crisp to slide into at bedtime. But, I can understand how Neal feels. It just that when one's backyard ends and becomes a pasture with farm animals and outbuildings like ours does, the laundry on the line is one of the best looking things in the area. Can't beat those rows of Jockey Midway Boxer Briefs and Idaho redneck wife-beaters. ;o)

Beautiful Eugene

After the wash cycle, when the WP/KM's spin for about a minute, the valve goes CLANG before the grand spray rinsing starts. This keeps the washing liquors pure and undiluted for the next load.

Your fabulous Maytag sprays for a full minute. Does it clang as well. Couldn't tell in the vid., but I can't imagine that full minute of rinse water going into the "suds."

Thanks for thinking of me.

More of the fun ...

Just thought I'd share some of these photos with everyone; we really did have a great time!!

As I said earlier, my laundry room will never be the same; which is a really good thing!!

Enjoy ...

An over-suds of 1950's Oxydol; it took 3 rinses to get the suds out of these towels (won't do that again ... or ... maybe I will!).

Heads In!!!

Sort of reminds you of that Frigidaire ad, huh? This one won't give them a headache, but could leave ugly marks on their foreheads!!
