From CNNMoney.com:
"On Thursday, the company said it is repositioning its Cheer detergent brand to target consumers looking for bargains and is cutting prices on that brand by 13% . P&G has already announced a test for a cheaper version of Tide called Basic. The company on Thursday said it is "adjusting" prices on large sizes of Tide. While Tide remains the company's premium laundry brand, Cheer is being positioned as a "value" offering within the laundry segment."
So that means that P&G will cut prices on the 80 ld/100 oz. & up sizes of Tide and will reposition Cheer as the value brand. With that move, what will happen to Era? And wasn't Gain the value offering?
