what really is going to happen...is either their going to make smaller packages/quantities and charge the same price
or to make, let's say, TIDE with less of the additives/ingredients that make it the great detergent it is today
No company out there is going to cut cost, and yet give the consumer the same equal product with a loss...after all, we actually pay in that price for the fancy packaging and the BIG advertising.....why don't they cut back on these....reduce some of those huge salaries...and yet still give us the total quality that we pay for....
If P&G is so "GREEN"...how many of their top execs have company cars that are Mercedes or BMW's..try cutting cost in the company itself....they should show by example and drive a Hybrid Prius or Honda...
I have a buddy who's a top exec for a bank...he drives a Hummer for a company car...the bank pays for this whole vehicle...insurance, gas, maintenance, and he gets to use it for personal use and vacations...I give him hell everytime we talk...my little nickel and dime fees and all the meaningless fees we consumers pay for, just so he can have a personal vehicle....
LOOK next time you pull into a bank or similar business and see what YOUR hard earned money is REALLY paying for...That shiny new JAG or Beemer...think about it! You don't pull into a laundromat and see the owner driving a luxury car...he most likely has a minivan for deliveries and supplies and maybe his wife has a little toyota...at least for the ones in my area....but if he was driving a Corvette...I would be looking for a new dry cleaner...I know it's 2 diffrent businesses but it makes you wonder...is business really that good this time of the year for any company...or is that dentist pushing ROOT CANALS to cover his car payment...
