For shame for shame
Kevinator washers were not bad machines and when used properly, they lasted as well as any other washer. I found them to be highly entertaining to even watch and they certainly did a good job of washing, rinsing and spinning the clothes. Like Frigidaire, they did have a tendency to tangle clothes when overloaded and sometimes over suds when using tide, but I consider that insignificant since they otherwise worked so well and actually fun to use and/or watch. It is my understanding that this type of washer was made by the ABC company and Kelvinator bought them in the 50's & started using the same design up until they were consumed by WCI in about 1966-68. If I was ever to manage getting a "dream set", this one would top the list.
