.....Fantastic artical, great information very though and informative, whilst reference is given to the predecessor "Thor Automagic" the styling of the Spinwasher is so different and very modern for 1960. The machine went through 2 further refinements in 1963 & 1967.

The styling of the Thor Automagic's remained virtually the same for over 24 years, (1946 - 1960)well apart from the controls.

Some great reading there Steve, great to see the classics and how they came to be, you can see a direct link between the first written instructions and how the colour picture guides of the later spinwashers fell out of reports and design tests like the above..
