Oh, A piece or 12 of Cake sounds just delicious
Robert, I am with you. I have a "Sinfully" flourless chocolate cake that is easy to make. I jsut made it for Christmas. It has a pound of semisweet chocolate, 6 egg yolks, milk, and 3 sticks of butter, plus other ingredients. It just melts in your mouth. If you want the receipe. I can post.

I didn't see this thread in the beginning before some of the posts were deleted so can't comment on that, but in a cyclical manner, we seem to need to "explain how things work around here" anytime we have someone new who disagrees with our topics of discussion. While I will admit that we need to be mindful of our younger readers and keep our posts PG-13 or better, I myself am a parent of an "innocent" 12 year-old boy and would never presume that it is the responsibility of any group of people to censor themselves to protect my child. That my friends is MY job. It is solely my responsibility to teach my child right from wrong and explain to them that there are times in this world that you will see, hear and read things that are not appropriate according to the values that we believe in and try our best to live by. Please do not assume that because you have a child reading this board that you can shirk your parental responsibility onto someone else. Raise your own child, don't tell us how to talk, converse or try to restrict us to your list of "acceptable" topics. As we have explained before to others, we are a rather close-knit group of friends who have known each other for a number of years and in many cases, treat each other as such and care for one another as you might find in any family. We talk about many things, appliances, detergents, personal accomplishments, illnesses and troubles in life, politics among other riveting topics which is exactly what the Super Forum was created for. Once again, if you don't like what you see here, why are you still reading?? Click away, click away!

My mother made for Christmas Day what she called an Apple Pie Cake. Somewhat similar to the Spice Apple Cake that I sometimes do, but much more moist. Scrumptious!
