OH! OH! OH! All three look great! They don't even look dirty. These must have been very well cared for. So glad someone in our club got them!

Thanks for the photos Mark. The "under the hood" shots are always appreciated!

Oh Mark, What can one say, they are just to beautiful for words!! Thanks so much for all the great pictures. Good to see you, Gary, and Robert again. I know you are going to have fun with these. Terry

It's worth noting that only the Lady Kenmore dryer had a porcelain drum and only for a short time. There must have been some problem with Kenmore calling their suds saver SudsMiser, because on the control panel and in every mention of the feature in the use and care guide, you can read Suds, but the Miser part is blacked out. Mom made her own Drip-Dry cycle by running either the Wash and Wear cycle or the Delicate cycle with the lid open to prevent the spin portions of the cycle.

VERY KOOL-love the clothes hanger rod-the wash chart-and the "radio dial" on the machines.also love the CHROME!And the dryer could be used as a heater? And yes that big fat Roto-Swirl-My grandmoms washer had one of those--but her washer didn't have the bells and whistles the one pictured has.Was the plain model. Was so neat to watch.also hers didn't have the UV bulb.If it did --I would have been sunburned!

Stays Still Loosened,

Only this time no smelling salts, went straight for the gin!

What a great set! WEll DONE! Am so happy a member rescued these units and that they will soon get the "spa" treatment.

Love the clothes hanger rack for the dryer, how nice of someone to think of almost every single thing to make Mrs. June Cleaver's laundry day so easy.

*FAINT*

Thanks Mark. Awesome and appears not too much work to be done. That's only a visual from this computer however. I hope it is easy and quick for a makeover.

Hi Mark, so glad you got these. You have a wonderful collection and these are near the top of the list when it comes to a collectable set. Enjoy them!

Wow!

It looks like someone took very good care of these machines.

I hope that it doesn't take too much time or effort to get them up and running again.

They're stunning.

Thanks for sharing.

Mike

Beautiful, Robert! How does the timer work on the washer? Is the timeline moved by the rotary dial as on Robert's easy?

Les

Those are some truly amazing classics! The chrome, the lights, The cool clothes hangers. What a nice find. Defnitely keep us posted on the restoration work being done!

AWESOME machines Mark...glad you have them now! Very cool features...from the time-line controls to the waterfall self-cleaning filter to the rotating-cup FS dispenser!

Good luck on the restoration! The washer isn't in bad shape under the top considering its age, IMHO...

I...I...I don't know what to say! They're absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I'd never seen a '58 LK until this pair was listed on E-bay. The console is a work of art. SO glad you saved this gorgeous, feature-laden pair. Hope you're able to find a softener cup---what an interesting feature.

Congrats!!

I think the agitation control is interesting. This is the first kenmore I'm ever seen with that feature. Usually the spped is incorporated into the cycle timer control.
These are truly beautiful machines!
Les

Again I'm speechless. That agitation control was important for the woolens cycle so that it wojuld have a gentle agitation but the normal spin speed.
