Beautiful piano!!

I'm not schooled in what makes/models are coveted, but yours sure looks pretty!

Now that you own it, learn about it some,

"So why write this.......may sound a bit mushy, but I am disturbed by the way customers have to wait six months for the tuner to work them into his schedule, only to find that the thing keeping two keys from working was a piece of rat manure or a 1947 New York subway token. I say, "Why not give piano owners the tools to take care of their own piano?"

I found this sequenced presentation fascinating and valuable.

It occupied my attention for some weeks, quite an interesting art.

That's a great looking piano! nice finish on it! If you desire to play it a lot, I recommend installing a humidifer in it. The humidifier will help keep it tuned, especially if you are a "heavy hand". He mentions the Winter pianos having an alumnium harp, and that it's problematic. Do you know if yours does? Looks like yours is well cared for, so you probably won't have any problems with it.

I like that piano tech site! lots of great information. The man is right...there's lots of "snobbery" in the industry. I run into it to with the Hammond Organs. The local Hammond dealer won't sell parts to me because I'm not an "authorized tech" and they say I shouldn't be messing around inside one! Hammond organs are not particularly channenging for an electronics tech...if you can work on a vintage TV or radio, you can work on one!
