I never understood this ad. Back in those days,the only top loading washers that had a second rinse were the top of the line.All front loaders had 3 or more rinses.I know the Westinghouse and Bendix front loaders had three including a "free rinse"which was a 2 minute spray of fresh cold water spraying on the clothes during the pump out of the wash water.They would then go into a 2 minute spin before the final 2 rinses.The combos did the same.So,this ad does apply to front loaders more than it does top loaders.Why then are they using a Philco/Bendix top loading washer to advertise Dash?
