WOW My dream for sure. Hope the dishwasher gods remember the Mobile maid for my next best dream machine. !!!! Mike

That is indeed a "dream machine" of mine! (Ken, too....)

I wonder how many are still around?? Something tells me this model was not widely marketing in Canada.

82 Glasses !!!

My Cousin's Mother In Law had this machine. I'll sound like Sophia now..." Picture it... 1966... Allentown Pa. I was 11 years old and my Cousin was getting married.  We went to Madelaine's House for Breakfast. I followed her into the kitchen and when she hit the Open Closed switch and that Big 'Ol Tub came rolling out of the cabinet on it's own, I nearly died."  We had the Princess model that you HAD to PULL out MANUALLY.  I almost fell over when she hit that switch and it went back in. What amazed me was for such a big machine, the Bow Tie was the same size as our Princess.

I have to say, the BowTie machines I thought did a remarkable job of cleaning (In my own opinion) for what it was.

30" GE Roll-Out DW

I to would love to find one of these machines, I saw one on the trash heap around 1970 and I took the gear-motor assembly that opened and closed the tub [ I still have it ]. But like most GE and other DWs that had Plastisol tubs few lasted very long if they actually got much use, but we have to believe that there is one out there somewhere.

There!

Is a yellow one in a house in Roanoake Va, also a electric Fabulous 400 Tappan,I went with Roanoake Robert there last fall, He bought a Frigidaire portable Dishwasher out of the basement....a 1960 Frigidaire!
