I decided to find my earliest posts, out of curiosity. To my surprise, I found many early posts that were attributed to me, but I never wrote. They were about appliances I've never had, places I've never been etc, etc. Some posts go back to 2004. According to AW, I joined on 9/28/2011. Has anyone else experienced this?

I can only guess that there was another 'Ultramatic' back then but who had left the board before you became active - when the 'super serchalator' feature came to be, it probably blended all their posts in with yours.   Databases can be funny, tempermental critters;  had an issue kinda like this with a customer in the food services business back when I used to work.  There had been a partial restore of data for an audit and whoopsie - customer orders from 5 years before were suddenly popping up and printing out!  Full disclosure - I didn't do the restore (but I was part of the crew who got to clean it up...)

It's certainly bizarre. I don't think there was another Ultramatic (I mean honestly; How could there be?

). No seriously, there was one post that obviously was written by Laundress, but AW attributes it to me.

Robert, for what it's worth, I got posts from 2004 that weren't Louis' doing the following:

- browsing automaticwasher.org with Chrome; go to Super Serchalator; search all available forums (default option), enter 'ultramatic' in the display posts for user field; do not select a specific forum, leave all choices unchecked; enter option for 'display oldest posts first'.

This gave me a result similar to what the 'real' Ultramatic described.

Okay I found them, boy you guys must have had to push the "Next 30" button hundreds of times to get all the way back to 2004!

There was a user named "Ultramatic" back then who made about 25 posts in total. I searched and replaced his name to Ultramatic1 so Louie regains the title of Ultramatic as it should be.

Thanks for finding this!

I will always be an active member on Automaticwasher.org! I don't ever plan on not being an active member on Automaticwasher.org! This is an awsome website! Hopefully one day I am able to find a Maytag A806 Washer and Maytag DE806 Halo Of Heat Dryer, that is my dream set!
