Hello all,

For those who havent seen, this is my newest addition to my collection. Some might ask why I own and use a commercial washer extractor in a domestic enviroment, but I'm a commercial appliance engineer and have access to scrappers (These have 4 different boards in, so they could get costly!) and I love these machines, so why not! I'm intending to keep it through till I have my own home and use it as a daily driver there. I have a matching dryer ( T4130 ) and an older W355H to accomodate in the new year too.

The machine's operating system is Compass Control, which has been replaced by Compass Pro on Electrolux's newer 5000 line. Machine was built in July 2011. It's gravity drain and uses Electrolux's frequency controlled motor; Max spin is 1300rpm/ G factor 425. It runs on a 1~ power supply. The machine has a 55L drum which holds 6kg/13lb of laundry, it looks very simalar to the drums fitted to some domestic Electrolux machines but this machine has a ''Sluice'' function and cycle, so the perforations are slightly larger. I could set it up with Auto Dosing detergent pumps, but... It's begining to cost a lot like Christmas!

The machine is missing its 'W455H' badge, but I have ordered a new fascia competley for the machine with buttons with temperatures on, mine currently say 1 and 2 for 2 pre set cycles, but the stickers no longer correspond with the 2 pre set cycles now ive changed them! I should also add, the Elux badge on its plinth is not original, it came from a scrap commercial fridge we replaced in the week, but the plinth is an Elux genuine plinth. Once the new fascia is fitted, it'll be perfect.

I will record and upload some cycles after finishing off setting it up, need to work out why theres 3 Delicate 30*C cycles...

Any questions about the machine etc, do ask and I'll answer them to my best knowlege!

Chris

W335H

Hi Paul,

As it happens I have a W355H and dryer waiting to get home and commission somewhere at home haha! Where did you get yours from? Is yours freestanding or mounted to the floor, lucky yours is pump drain!

W355H

Hi Chris.

Love your machine, sure it was on a YouTube channel, not sure if it was your account.

Yes my machine has a pump, but love the very fast wash times. I got my given as a friend has just bought a guest house in Blackpool and is having a re fit to kitchen and laundry room.

Not allowed any more machines now as other half is happy with the ones I have.

Hi Paul, yeah that was me.

Very nice line up, not too keen on modern Mieles but Id love an older one. A family friend has a W754S in daily use (Think you have one!), never gone wrong from the day they brought it new. Love the laundry room too, very cosy! I intend to cull my collection as I cant get in my workshop/appliance shed as Ive too much!

That Beko dryer, is it a heat pump?

Chris

Beko Dryer

Hi Chris.

The Beko dryer is a condenser dryer. I did want a heat pump, but as my machines are in garage, now converted laundry room, I was told they don't work if the temperature is cold. I did have a Miele dryer but died and wasn't very old. The Beko dryer is great, large capacity, dries well, and doesn't take too long to dry. I do have a heater in garage and central heating boiler is in there so doesn't get to cold, but was concerned about the heat pump not working.

Yes I have 2 Miele W754S machines. One is a 950 rpm machine and the other is the 1100rpm. The 950 rpm is one of the first machines Miele bought out.

Cheers

Paul
