Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

I'm completely taken with the new Tide Turbo HE. Those of us with softened water know how hard it is to get clear rinse water and Turbo fills the bill. The pod version is my daily driver. All other detergents on the shelf---save Perwoll for blacks---have gone to the local food shelf and friends. I use liquid chlorine bleach frequently and have noticed it also rinses out much better using the Turbo detergent. Makes sense, I suppose.

The only other detergent I'm waiting to try is Rosalie's Zero Suds!

That's quite the testimonial. I'm hoping to try this new version myself, like you I have had much difficulty using Tide with soft water. Now is the waiting for it to arrive on shelves.

I shop at a HyVee grocery store and Turbo is available in liquid (but only Tide Original) and pods (a bag of 14 in Ocean Breeze, my preferred scent; in containers of 72 but only in Spring Meadow, which I don't like).

If you have medium-to-hard water, the Turbo formula may not make a big difference, but in soft water....WOW!

I'm hoping they'll extend Turbo to the Tide With Bleach Alternative line, which is their best-cleaning detergent.

Of course the big question is this: It's natural that P&G would roll out the Turbo formulation in their flagship brand. How long 'til it shows up in their other detergents?

I'm pretty ecstatic about it myself. Here in Huntsville I'd say our water isn't the softest but it's also not the hardest, but the difference in sudsing and rinsing performance between the normal HE formulas and the Turbo is like night and day. I need them to hurry up with the Gain version!

I went to Target and Kohl's today. We had mixed wintery precip so it kept many turd world drivers off the roads and out of the stores. I was able to park in the first row of spaces in front of Kohl's, but I checked Tide at Target. Some of the bottles and a couple of the boxes were labeled Turbo, but most were not. Again, it is probably a question of moving older stock through the warehouse and out onto the store shelving, but it is fun to see Turbo slowly start to appear for sale.
