hello everyone,

i have a small question releated to the new tide pods detergent in what way are they better than regular liquid or powder detergent and are they worth using if you only have a small load to wash? and why put it directly in a fl drum rather than the dispenser is this dangerous in causing way to much suds?

Thank you to anyone who can answer this question

Hi There

We've had pod detergents here in the UK for years. They are called Liquitabs under P&G brands and Capsules under Unilever. In my experience they don't wash any better than regular liquid detergent. They tend to be aimed at convenience, less mess and ease of dosing. Tablets were first introduced when persil started making tablets in 1998 in the uk whereas liquid capsules came out around 2002. They have proven so popular here that even supermarkets all have their own brand.

no big deal......twice the price per use versus regular Tide.....

some dispensers do not use enough water to disolve the outter covering and open the pod and rinse it all down........
