Here's the interior of the Bendix top loader....defintely NOT a Philco design...more Franklin...with the plastic bowl it would seem?

I had this same machine branded Kelvinator in my first house. It was a pretty sad "pig" overall but I would have flipped over the Bendix name on it. It's splashy and dramatic on the top of the water, but no cleaning goes on where it counts.

I think this is a similar Franklin/WCI bargain washer that ripped the arm off a little girl. Be Careful!! ;-)
