Real Coke in bottles at Kroger; heads up

I was in Kroger this morning and saw the Made in Mexico glass bottled cokes at an outrageous $1.79. I couldn't bring myself to pay that much.
BTW it wasn't in the pop/chip aisle they were in the ethnicky section

It would be $2.89 per bottle if it was being sold at Safeway!

I buy ours by the case at Sam's. Not all Sam's Clubs carry it. I have to drive down the freeway to a Sam's in a mexican part of town to find it.

They have raised the price by the way. It used to be $17.89 for a case of 24, but now Sam's is asking $19.69 for a case.

After going through a case of this stuff, I find the HFC laden American version of Coke just intolerable.

The reach-in fridge at a little taqueria that we love to frequent has Mexican bottles of Coke mixed in with other sodas and beer. You pay up front and then go grab whatever drink you ordered. They finally caught on and started asking which kind of Coke you wanted. But they haven't started to ask if you want Mexican beer instead of domestic so that's still a deal.

I just went to check a can of Canadian Coke up in the kitchen and the list of ingredients is
Water, Sugar/Glucose-Fructose etc.. so I guess that means either there's either sugar or GF or a mix of both

What do the US cans say?

I went through a couple of cases of the Mexican coke over the summer. Then I noticed that beer was cheaper.
