We had a great time last night/this morning at an unplanned visit to the Parliament House celebrating Pride week. RuPaul was there performing for a really full house. He did a great job and it seemed like everyone had a great time. Anyone else here see him there?

He took time out from the show to speak of love & respect of oneself and others and nuturing relationships. I thought that was pretty nice to hear some positive thoughts considering all the recent negativity that is around us.

After his 40 minute show, he took time to meet with fans. When our turn came; Ru Paul was really unhurried, friendly, quite talkative, appreciative & down to earth at the same time. We had a lot of fun joking around with him, so much so even the buttoned-up Orlando cop assigned to monitor things was laughing and cutting up.

Good Times!

Leslie,
I just love Rupaul! Glad you got to meet her.
Ru is the nicest person you can ever meet. I remember him at the clubs when I first moved to Atlanta. He never met a stranger, even back then. I had many cocktails with RuRu. (that is what I called him way back when) I think stardom could not come to a better soul.
Glad you guys had fun!

work it girl!

RuPaul was an abosolute blast on NYC'S WKTU radio as a morning DJ.

He'd be positive and fun. I can still hear him now....

Around halloween: "Who you callin' a spook?"
When something occurred in the borough of Queens. [Hello, every day with the traffic report!]. "HI QUEENS!"

Staten Island:
"ooh the Staten Island Ferry (Fairy)."

I agree, what a positive energy!
