yeah, but at 92 years old he sure had a good run.
I remember him more for his supporting roles such as on Twighlight Zone than I do as Mr. Clean.
BTW IMO that was great stuff in the beginning but I think it became too diluted over the years and lost its effectiveness.

When I go for a powerful cleaner these days----- its Clorox Clean-Up!
 
My Mom told me this years ago: Back in the days when most homes had only one television (very early 1960's, in this case), my Mom used to crank the sound up as loud as it would go so she could hear her soap operas while cleaning the house.

No matter where I was in the house, I'd make a bee-line for the TV every time a Mr. Clean commercial came on.

I wonder what the attraction was for me, LOL!
