Oh I'm not angry John. Not at all. Just observing. Other than another nasty sinus issue, the roller coaster climate here,  making a call to dad's tax guy to make sure I have all the necessary stuff to send to get his taxes filed, I';m fine.

I have a Speed Queen after all.  That alone more than offsets the stupid crap I have to deal with/see on a daily basis.  Nothing like a 210 degree agitator stroke to calm you down after a hard day.

When I feel nostalgic, I search on youtube for 60's70's Mopars starting up just so I can hear the gear reduction starter. Then I send the link to Jerry (Moparwash) so he can see them too.

Already I'm figuring on rye grass this year for the yard.  Just as soon as I get rid of the mole who is squatting on my property.

And Henne4 my fan from Germany. Son, this forum would not be half of what it is if you were not here to defend everything new, modern and government mandated.  As twisted as this sounds, I'm glad you're here.  Otherwise this would be boring as hell.  BTW I like smartphones, I'd like them better if they lasted longer.  I also like Aldi, a german co, for groceries.  See? I'm open minded?  Hell, I switched to Cascade PODS after using Electrolux powder for years!  And you think I can't adapt?  Methinks you errr my son. I even have a 96 per cent efficient furnace for crying out loud!  No, I can't run it with my smartphone but I can push a few buttons!

I know there are a few good eggs in your group, I just wish I could say I've had the pleasure of meeting/working with one. But being honest, I can't. Sorry but perhaps my turn to meet a good millenial egg has not yet come.

"I have a Speed Queen after all.  That alone more than offsets the stupid crap I have to deal with/see on a daily basis.  Nothing like a 210 degree agitator stroke to calm you down after a hard day." Thank-you for this quote, I can so relate.

I work with all millennials at my job, they're very good to me and I've learned some valuable technical things from them. For the most part they have been very patient with me, and seem glad to see me coming to work, I guess I'm some sort of father figure to them. In turn, I try to teach them what I know about life, through experience and lessons hard learned. Some listen, some don't. I will say this much about the younger generation, they are smarter than my generation, overall, but they seem to lack some self-discipline and good common-sense. All in all I'm glad they are around.
