Hey there,

We finally made a video of the Savage that Rich won off of eBay. Thanks again, Larry, for the last minute assistance picking it up from that... that... woman!

Fascinating machine, well ahead of its time, would love to know what expected dry weight of clothes was reccommended?? I would imagine it could take 12 - 15lbs easy, will have to experiment, I wonder also if the spinner benefits from a fuller tub, although you have to have your wits about you to load the drum evenly for a smooth spin...

Anyone know what the washtub turn & spin speed would be??

Thanks for the video! That was neat, I remember using a similar machine at Brimfield that had handles on the outside and a foot pedal at the base and the operator grabbed the handles stepped on the foot pedal which caused the tub to mount up vertically from the wash water and then spin. But you didn't have time to distribute the clothes so the thing really shook!

I bet a housewife would have thought that a wonder to be free from rollers.

And thanks again for the nice garden party!

Thanks for the video, i wondered how it worked. We toured the home of Denver Heiress, Ms. Molly Brown ( of the real Titanic fame), There was a similar machine on her back porch. alr
