The house where I'm currently living has a 40-inch GE range from the '60s. I'm sure it was TOL before the "bonus" parts (rotisserie, meat thermometer, Sensi-Temp Grill) disappeared. Still, it's perfectly useful, except for a broken support on the back burner and the Sensi-Temp burner, which doesn't work on any setting. Does anybody have any experience with Sensi-Temps? I'm wondering if the burner needs to be replaced or if it's an easy fix.

Could be the pan sensor in the middle of the burner. I think there are 2 wires that run from the pan sensor up to the burner switch. You can check continuity of those 2 wires going to the pan sensor. If there is no continuity, then the pan sensor is open and needs to be replaced. It may be no longer available. Hope this helps.
