I am St. Tropez visiting a friend and his Siemens dryer is being difficult. Every ten minutes it stops running and the clean filter light starts flashing even though the filter is clean. Sounds like a bad sensor to me.
And the matching washer does a lousy job of rinsing. At least the Miele my friend has in his home in the states does one deep rinse but this Siemens piece of crap doesnt use enough water to barely get the clothes wet. He needs a good American vintage solid tub top loader for rinsing with overflo rinse.

Is the dryer vented to the outside? Maybe lint has accumulated in the ductwork. Maybe there is a bird's nest or other debris blocking the airflow. If it's a condenser model, the condenser module might need a good cleaning. Hope your stay is pleasant otherwise.

This is a condenser dryer. I think I located the trouble. Apparently some leaves from the garage floor had gotten down in the lint duct way below the actual lint screen. I vacuumed it out and now the dryer seems to be working fine. I still dont like the washer though. Water efficiency is one thing but this is ridiculous. I will be glad to get home to my Frigidaire 1 18 and my vintage Norge.

This model doesnt have the water plus feature like his Miele back in Atlanta so I am doing very small loads and HE detergent.

I bet it's a BOL model like this one in the link. It has just the slower spin key and the rinse hold (spuelstopp-anticrease) key and no extra rinse key.
Anyway it has a separate rinse-only cycle you can run after the wash cycle

These "el cheapo" series made in Turkey are usually sold badged as Bosch in big box stores.
People guess they make a great deal : "wow ... a Bosch washer for 200 € only" ......
