ever since the new maytag washer (*daily driver) has been install even if water temp is dumb down should i keep using warm water hot water washer temps i have been using so far colors and perm press cool water washer cold rinse the rest warm sometime hot where i have a dilema is should i use atc cold winter? and my mom bought the lg wm 4100hba but she will be using cold water even if i would explain to her she should use warm she will keep using cold sometime i wish i could make her see no matter the soil level better wash action when using warm water

the default temp on the normal cycle is warm, at least on my WM3900. tell her not to touch the temp controls and you should be ok. we seldom use the cold wash temp, and we only use it for stuff that is extremely delicate.
