I've left a message for the owner of this old snack truck... Apparently he used to open it to serve visitors at the flea market years ago. Right inside the font of the vehicle is this beautiful radarange. Like in a case at a museum, I am only a foot away, yet I can not touch. I hope he is willing to sell it. Anyone know the model? Here is the best I could do with the pictures.

Looks like an RR4D or RR4DW - the give away is the defrost slider above the timers. Difference between the non W and the W model was the government mandate in 1974 for the safety swtiches, IIRC. Functionally they are the same.

I picked up this identical microwave yesterday, sitting on the side of the road on the way to Menards. In horrible shape, but good for interrupt switches, dials, timers, etc.

Good luck!

Ben

Ben is exactly right, he is the ARR man! Ben I messed ouround with my RR7D and thought I found the problem, a bad fuse, so I replaced it with a 15 amp fuse from a modern one, it comes on now, but doesn't sound right at all. Maybe my continuity is not good? the connection isn't the best because the old one was hardwired in.

Will, I hope you picked that beauty up.

No news!

I didn't offer a lot for it. I should have offered a modern microwave as a replacement. I may make a special trip again in a few weeks. Hopefully I'll hear from him soon.
