Well heres thanks to Gary, Mathew and Mike. All brilliant people, who contribute massively to a hobby that we all love.

Cheers to you all
Highest regards

p.s Mike visited the tip and acquired the first version of the U2334 Electricity Board Special Turbopower.

Unfortunately neither of us thought to take a before piccy of it, prior to cleaning, so you will have to take my words for it. It had led a very hard life!!!
The belt had detached because the entire tunnel where the belt runs was full of dirt, muck and accumulation - jam packed solid.

Some seriously hard and deep cleaning, followed by a couple of layers of polish and here is the result.

Mike - we left the shop sticker on the machine, so you can show Dave that another of the machines, that passed through his shop, is assured of a life in preservation...

OK OK OK

Im making an online promise, yes there are witnesses.

After seeing the shocking state of my hands (pouring the milk) which look like they belong to a 50 year old let alone a 25 year old I vouch to do the following....

* stop biting my sodding nails
* moisturize them
* stop thinking nothing of using my barehands in buckets/bowls of bleachy/soapy/caustic very very hot water when cleaning
* cracking my knuckles
* lose the weight that is probably causing the poor circulation and weird colour
* use DEB hand protection cream when doing diy jobs so I dont have to use neat washing up liquid and a scrubbing brush to remove oils and dirt after.

Enough said!

MY GOD!!!!!

You are sooooooo going to be held to the first one!!!!!

and that water is always unnecessarily hot!!!

as for me - I am PERFECT!

x-p
p.s will be on a 'buddy diet' with a colleague at work, as of Monday. She will keep me in check! hopefully lose the weight too.

Speaking of coffee and cream.

The theme of late, the Dustette came yesterday.

I do wonder how many times I have to Hoover the stairs until the novelty wears off.

Will certainly relieve the Turbomaster and the optional stair extension hose for a while......

thanks to you all as well

Hi Paul, Rob, Gary and Mike

very late in the thread I know, but thanks to you all, for all these oportunities to meet up and enjoy each others company, the machines, and each others skills, knowledge and enthusiasm. Paul, you know for me, not being able to get the screw driver out would be like you not being allowed to look at the model/serial no.lol, it's great just what different sides we all bring to the whole when we get together.

Right about to have another go at a few photos lol. I swear if posting pictures involved a gearbox and a keyplate I'd be ok lol

Mathew
