Is anyone here collecting these? I have 2 of them in my collection .
I am looking for a source for the rubber mounts for the spinner motor . Mine both have the German made spinner motors .
Any suggestions ?

Hi Mike. One thing I really like about the English twin tubs is that they had real agitators instead of impellers.

Hi Ross and Folks

And how about all the brands they have or the fact that we made parts for the Speed Queen here in the US, but didn't sell them at home. How sad. The TT is truly a species unto its own. We have the Easy Spin, a full size power house, of course; but no one ever called it a twin tub.

Thinking of the cakes and cakes of suds you'll make with your new water softener. YAY

Chestermike, that's exactally like mine , except my agitator is different , It's more like the ones used in the automatic speed queens .
Thats great if the mounts are still available . I'll have to find out more about my spinner motor .
I also have one that's a bit newer than this one .
So what parts were made in Canada ? , I would imagine the body metal , wash tubs ,and I know it has a GE motor made in Canada .
Were all the transmissions made in the UK ?
