Mechanical Timer ?
John / Combo52, I think why the Speed Queen timer is being referred to as "mechanical" is because they are the only company to use the ratcheting (one direction) more washer like type of timer. While every other manufacturer has used the smoother (turns clockwise and counterclockwise) type for as long as I can remember. I have wondered about this myself. Any insight as to why? Ed
