It's a Speed Queen alright.

But what is a Kenmore like door doing on a Speed Queen????

I thought Speed Queens open toward the right. On this model, the door looks like it opens downward just like the 1960's Norges and a Kenmore.

What's up with that????

This is an early 54 model - the handle is on the top of the door but it opens just like all others. Hinged on the right. It looks to be in lovely condition. Lower air-flow than the later models so it can be slow but it dries very soft and fluffy as a vintage dryer should. The fan bushing is a typical wear point, but it's not impossible to find.
