A lot of the models like yours have trickled into residential homes for obvious reasons. There are still a lot of folks who want a real washer.

I could not had said it better!

I absolutely refuse to be duped and conned by Whirlpool into buying one of their POS washing machines, only to push it to the curb after 5 years, if not sooner.

As we all know, they've taken the once proud Maytag name and dragged it through the mud with the atrocities they now dare call a Maytag. Indeed, poor 'ol Fred Maytag must be spinning in his grave!

The 2 Korean manufacturers (Samsuck & LG) as well as Chinese owned GE (Haier) are absolutely out of the question.

That leaves just Alliance Industries, IMHO the TC5 is the only washer of choice, forget the TR series.

I'm enjoying my Speed Queen Commercials indeed. I love the sounds they make especially on the normal cycle with its normal agitation and fast spin. I love it. Oh, please feel free to respond to my email I sent you about the washers and type of music associated with.

I’m very happy with my TR5. It’s very well built, is much quieter than the TC5 and does a great job cleaning without beating up your clothing. Use the Heavy Duty cycle with auto-fill for best results.

I know right? This site would be awesome with a live stream chat option like Reddit- start a convo and add as many users as you'd like. Pics/vid/casual chat about laundry. People could also live stream their laundry days.

I purchased some Speed Queen Gear Oil from amazon.com and I can tell you, it was thick stuff. It did smell like it had benzene in it. It had a sweet smell to it compared to Whirlpool and GE. I guess that's why Speed Queen Classic transmissions run so smoothly when running.

heavy duty as a normal cycle

I would treat the heavy duty cycle as your normal cycle, because that's what the real normal cycle used to be before 2015.
