If the tub moves during agitation, you might notice water splashing over the edge, especially with that high water level. I had that problem, so I replaced brake pads. The new pads held the tub in place and stopped the water spillage.

Very easy repair job on my 26-year-old washer.

SQ Customer Service

They watched the video. Diagnosed it and offered to send the part for free. I’ll keep it in case I should ever need it. SQ still seems to care about its customers. I’m pretty impressed. It is the best washer we’ve ever had. I just wish it was as quiet as it was when it was new.
