Speed Queen TC5 drain hose question

I ordered a new SQ TC5 that is being delivered this week. Due to the location of my drain tub I think I'll need to extend the drain hose. The SQ installation video () shows the drain hose has a smaller end section on it. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the outside diameter of the end section and is this section made of a hard or a flexible material? I am hoping to attach an extension hose to this end section. Thanks in advance.

I just slid the hose into a regular black rubber hose(cut to length needed) with a hook for hanging into the stand pipe.....

applied a bead of sealant before sliding together....

Though not US, but I bought a set of a hose extension, 2 hose clamps and a brass male-to-male adapter.

Even if hoses are different diameters they are usually somewhat stretchy.
With the adaptor and hose clamps I was sure nothing could slip, move, etc.
