I spoke with a representative through the online chat. I was instructed to discard the part that was shipped in error. A replacement order for the cap has been placed. The agitator eta looks like 10/15.

The part in the package has a number stamped on it. 530-036515. A similar part number to the cap.

I didnt see the online chat but I sent them an email so we will see what happens....seems like they have too many parts that have that same number sequence...
Well, if they are...then someone needs to tell Alliance...received all 3 caps today, wrapped in a single Alliance bag--so they must order direct from them. Fit perfectly. Of course, received an e-mail stating that they had shipped. lol
I got my agitator today..fit beautifully and wow is that sucker powerful. Still no cap and Sears is working on it. If they cant come up with one I will look around here to see what I can find.
I got a credit from Sears and I am waiting to see if they want the handle back that I got instead of the cap. I ordered another cap from AppliancePartsPro.com and it was a $1 buck more but they had it in stock. But I will let you know Martin. One thing that I noticed is when I had the agitator in is that my water level on ex large comes right on over to the top of the agitator. So with the cap in place it will give me the height I need. But my gawd can that agitator move water. Now I am looking forward to doing laundry on Sunday. I am also wondering how well it will pull water thru the lint filter and if it will be better.
One thing on the agitator that I noticed that 3 out of 4 holes at the bottom of the barrel were blocked with plastic flash. I took a nail and poked thru the flash and pushed it out of the way. There is quite a bit of water movement thru the barrel where there is next to none in the FlexVane one. I like where the openings are at the curves of the vane in the solid vane agitator...makes more sense to me since it drives the water into the barrel and down thru to flush it clean. The solid vane has a great deal more ooomph to it surging the water in the washbasket.
Mine was liked that as well...haven't punched the holes out yet. Look at my video above...mine seemed to be 'off centered' - notice how it wobbles back and forth in the agitation stroke--the flex vane didn't do that--almost like the agitator is slightly ajar on the post...but wouldn't imagine that could be as tight as that fits on the bell?
Are you going to stick with the solid vane? My basket also seemed to rock back and forth a lot more with the solid vane.
Dan I dont seem to have that problem with mine....the reason why I got the solid vane is because I am tired of cleaning out the agitator after the tenant we have uses the washer...So I am going to swap out the FlexVane when I do laundry and use the solid vane. The tenant uses the most gawd awful stench of softener and I figure I will let him use the flex and then he can see how scummy it will get. Its been a pain in my ass and the hubby and I have had some heated arguments over the tenant not respecting anything we have. So to save my relationship I will do what I have to do. Sad aint it.
I don't blame you. Amazing how bad people treat other people's property.
I meant to post this last week...solid vane on low water level...splash city with a suds cake to boot--made out of HE detergent...who said HE won't suds? lol
I have the same issue with off-center agitator, but only when the dispenser is on, with the regular cap its fine, I think the dispenser may be a little off level.....
the other think I don't like is the dubbed down water pressure for the Hot water side, it dribbles in like yours, and I have really high water pressure.....I'm thinking of changing out the water valve from a whirlpool, just to see if the pressure changes......
My SQ at the condo is at the end of the hot water line, so I have to prep it by running the kitchen water to get the water hot enough. I rarely use hot, so not that big of a deal...the warm however is extremely luke warm, borderline cold in the winter from the mix ratio + my long hot water run.
I really like the 03 WP that has the sensor on warm that makes it just about perfect--my TOL did NOT dumb down the hot water at all in the WP. SQ doesn't do that either, just trickles though--and I miss the waterfall. lol
