I just got a call from a woman with a Speed Queen wringer washer she claims is only 4-5 years old and never been used. If anyone is interested email me and I will give you her number.
I responded by email. I used "respond" on AOL and it said your mail has been sent. The email address is different than the one you give above. I will resend to the email address you give above.
Notice the small selector switch on the control panel - that's the same (or very, very similar) to the switch on Robert's 59 yellow Norge set he brought back from Tulsa in July.
I worked for Montgomery Ward in the 80's - early 90's. They had two lines of washers, the Signature ones were made my Norge, and then there were the ones made my WCI that only said "Montgomery Ward" on them. They had control panels like White-Westinghouse machines of the time.
I remember the salesmen complaining that one in three of the Norge machines would come back with some problem. They would push the GE Filter-Flo machines
I owned one of the WCI machines for 3 years with no problems other than it would get unbalanced easily and "walk".
