Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

How beautiful Eddie....what a superb find, no pun intended, looks like it has nevre been used at all.......there are some homes where the dishwasher is installed, and the owners refuse to it one for one reason or another

Thank You Boys !!!

I am truly excited about this one.

I am just cleaning out the Fridge tonight and will run a load of Platics and Pots from reheating tonight.

I will post the Bob Load as I will cook "Heavy" tomorrow night.

@ Steve... Yes, Somehow when there is something on the Cape, I'll stumble upon it. This machine is soooo Beautiful. Now I have to run every cycle and figure out the sequence. As I don't have the Owner's Manual to tell me what's going on. I sort of regret giving up that 20 I gave you, but here's the replacement.

@ Patrick, Thanks for the kind words. I just get so excited when I find these Vintage Beauties here on the Cape as they (for the most part) were used by Older Couples or used in a High End Summer Home which are only used 3 times a year for Cocktail Glasses. LOL

@ Martin,
Yup he's a beauty and a Keeper once I combine the 3 KDS-18s and make One good one.

A buried gem from the Cape @ 5 in the morning--TOTAL MINT !!

Hey Eddie, I bet you're so happy now that you didn't comfort yourself
smiley-wink.gif
, roll over, and go back to sleep.

Hey Mike...

I will go to sleep when I hear the Final "Snap" of the Drain Solenoid before it goes into the Dry Cycle.

My Joy in the morning will be to unlatch the door, hear the timer reset itself with the 4-5 clicks, and hopefully everything will be dry. (Including the Plastic Stuff. LOL

Congratulations on the find! Its a beautiful machine. I have been hoping to find one here in NS, but no luck yet. Take a picture of the Bobload please lol! Could you get a photo of the buttons and their cycle labels?

Well, the early bird gets the Superba!

I love the sound of those clicks as the timer resets itself - one of my favorite parts of all rapid-advance machines!

Congrats on a beautiful find, what a low-use machine. Amazing to us that use these machines all the time that someone could walk by this everyday and NOT turn it on! You're probably right about the summer home, there is enough to do on the cape for vacationers to almost never need to eat at home!

WOW!!! A Hurricane In A Box!

Wonderfull! I love finds like that. Reminds me of the one I rescued and ended up giving to QSD_DAN. It has that shine that just screams "Somebody really loved me!" So, are you going to use it to remove any flower patterns off your dishes??? LOL!!

How do you rig for transport

Very nice machine.

What is the "best practice" for transporting an older machine like this?

Remove racks - or tape and pack them with blankets or...

And what do you do with the spray arm?

It's Running Right Now

I forgot about how many Pauses on this machine for water
heating !!!

Oh, I'm in Heaven ... Solenois snapping and now it's a full fill for the Main Wash. All that water throwing and the snap for the Main Wash Dtergent Cup.

Yeah, I guess it's almost like Sex !!! LOL

Bob Load tomorrow Night !!!. So far He's running like a dream on "Heavy Wash".

Thanks Guys for all the Warm (Pre Heated) Warm Wishes. !!!

Nothing like the sound of a KitchenAid hard at work

Transporting...

If it's close to home, I don't do much but drive slow and make sure it won't tip over. (Driving Slow will piss anyone off behind me and hopefully they'll look at the Beautiful Machine in my truck wishing they had one or remmber they had one in their childhood). LOL. Long distance, Upright, tied down and wrapped with Pallet Wrap 4 times over to prevent Weather Damage.

OK...

The New Guy is finished running with 3 Clicks of the Rapid Advance Timer, but was feeling lonely on his first night home. So, what else could I do ? Of Course, but bring in Grandma to make him feel at home. (Where I get the Gender things for my machines, I haven't a Clue) !!! I'm such a silly fag ! LOL

Thanks Mike.

Yes it's a Great Machine for the One Arm Wonder. The KDS 55 is truly a "Dishwasher". Tricky Loading but cleans Great. As for the "New Guy" , They can wash it all. Pots, Pans, Dishes, it's as we know because of the Wash Arm under the Upper Rack.

@ Ben, Thanks for your Compliments. Yup , It's wonderful to find someone that doesn't remove the film.@ paul, Thanks. we'll talk soon

@ Mr. Gansky, The Rapid Advance gives me Goose Bumps aka "Chicken Skin" !!! Although, I'm no Spring Chicken anymore. LOL

@ Drew... I remember and have the pics from the thread of the Black Paneled 19 Dan got.. Great Beautiful Machine. Yup. The 20 is a better machine, but the 19 was good as well, except for the drying which I stated earlier and most agree.

Thanks Everyone for your Kind Comments. It's always fun to find a "Gem".
