do ALL UK Juniors crack in the same spot? mine has a crack in the case, below the bag, at the rear of the cleaner. ive seen other US Junior-style Hoovers crack in the same spot.

Hey mate

Not all but it is quite common- you quite often see cracks in the casing where the roller fits as well

Colours!!!

Its interesting how we have our own favourites and "Colours", UK stuff had some rather nice colours but I love the turquoises and this taupe green colour, its soooo unusual for us.

AND, do I notice that it has the spring and metal slider for the top of bag attachment??

Our model has the plasticky mount by the time of this model, personally I would go with the spring I`m sure it would have lasted longer!!

Hey Mike

The "slider" on the top of the bag is moulded plastic/vinyl and is part of the bag . If you look in Hooverland at my U4003 pics it has a close up of the same kinds thing .

Are Garland green, spring green, and venetian gold.

After looking at the additional pictures, and knowing what I do about how things were sometimes done at the factory, I'd say that David's Junior came from the factory like that, funky bag and all.
