whenever i go up to hamilton ohio to visit melvin (supremewhirlpool) i seem to come back with a car load!

today was no exception. i took him a kitchenaid tall tub stainless dishwasher that needs a motor that he wanted and i came back with this beautiful bendix front loader i bought from him.

i also brought back the maytag dishwasher he had on the site yesterday as a give a way!

my jeep was stuffed!!!

late version?

with the cast aluminum, spoked drive pulley (instead of a black
stamped steel one)might be from around the last few years of
the design?,say Ca.1950?
nice scores BTW.

i've always wanted a bendix

and this little machine is going right next to my rollermatics in my living room!

if anyone has any info on this machine they can share it would be great! ass said i am a novice with bendix!

motor may have date stamp.

looks like a delco motor so if you can veiw the nameplate,
should be able to read the date code, letter then year
example:A50=jan 1950(if i am correct on the letter code)

Pete, we sure did cram that stuff in there. I just hope you didn't injure your back again getting those machines out! Check the electrics of that Bendix over carefully, I want you to live to enjoy it! Like I said, the electrics are too old for me to feel comfortable with. I'm glad you can enjoy it and save it from the crusher. So, how many machines do you have now? Thanks for bringing that SS DW, I'm sure the pump system can be rebuilt.

lets see melvin

44 dishwashers, 2 wringer washers, 5 rollermatics, a 1-18, a frigidaire front loader (9 yrs old) a whirlpool top loader late model, that portable whirlpool i got from you, the speedqueen and hotpoint top loaders i got from you, the maytag 606 i got recently, a portable whirlpool dryer, 3 old 60's frigidaire dryers, and one trash compactor. and the bendix! think that's it. now you see whay i have no room in my house!

enjoyed comin up today for a visit!

melvin i just

read your post in the deluxe section on your ipse front loader that i saw in action today! very interesting, love the pics! thanks for crankin it up today, it was fun to watch. you will finish it! "one little bit at a time" is my motto anymore!

Oh wow! I think we're going to have to get you a gen-set like what Kevin(revinkevin) has in order for you to run all of those machines! I'm going to have to see the house with your latest machines. You sure love those dishwashers! Maybe it is good for me to have a second dishwasher for a backup. Given the cost of parts for commercial machines, it will indeed take a while to get that Ipso beast running properly. But as you said, one step at a time. How is that 1-18 coming? Can't wait to see the Bendix back in service!

thanks for the motor info

guys! gonna get it in the house tomorow and start to tune it up a bit.

melvin i am putting the 1-18 back together at the present timne, should be working again in about 2 weeks. will post pics. thanks, you will have to come down again later this summer when i get the 1-18, this bendix, and rollermatic no. 4 up and running!

Bendix

Hi Peter.

Love the photos of your Bendix. It looks a very solid machine. Does it weigh a ton. What spin speed is the machine.

They don,t make them like that anymore.

Regards

Paul
