This cleaning system won The 2013 Electrolux Design Lab competition. Mab, as it's called, releases hundreds of tiny flying robots to clean your house...and scare the cat.
Inspired by the controlled flight of bees pollinating a flower, Mab flying robots clean surfaces by touching them with a drop of water. Mab scans the house, determine the areas to clean and sends the robots flying.
"Home nudists are advised to shower frequently, to avoid triggering MAB's cleanbots. Electrolux accepts no responsibility for the effect of cleanbots on any portion of a user's body."
Reminds of of that one who had only plastic and steel furniture. When she left the house, she'd just turn on the sprinklers and fans and the house cleaned itself.

Back in the 80's I knew a woman that was looking for this same setup!
I don't think this would suit my house at all..... I doubt that the flying robots would
A) have enough space to take off or land
B) have enough fuel/charge to tackle the dust between and around the carefully stacked 'stuff' which abounds everywhere.
And, yes.... I can do without a house full of mud... ;-)
