Celebrating The Laundry Lab on 30th Of July 2011!

Hi all hope to find you all well and keeping busy. 

The Celebration:


On the 30th Of July 2011, The Laundry Lab will be celebrating its first year. To mark the event I shall be posting our new track: "Disco@The Launderette" 

Working Demo:
 
In 2008 I took the risk and wrote something that represented a bit about my life. I wanted to create something different fun and something original. Disco@ The Launderette is just a "one of special" but really personal to me lol. 

Earlier this year, my partner and I gave Disco@ The Launderette a new life. The orginal take was just rough idea's to begin with. We never thought it would be part of the demo pack ready to give out later this year, where it will lead who knows? 

However since I've found out that I wasn't the only person on the planet who loved anything to do with "laundry" and shared the same interest, it felt right that I should tribute this track to all you guys on AW.org. Just my way of saying thank you for the warm welcome and the support given, regarding The Laundry Lab. Plus, for keeping me busy and entertained - "it's the place to be" 

But for now roll on 30th Of July 2011!

***New for Laundry Lab forum***

Every Sunday I'll be attaching some of the posts that has been discussed through out the week, which might be worth a read. Basically its just another chance for you guys to catch up with the week's events. 

First, we shall start with: 

90 Degree’s Wash!: A discussion about who washes on 90*C and there reasons why. The thread later leads to cost of detergents, which are grossly priced by high street supermarkets. Through out the thread, the AW.org gang, give there recommendations and conclusions on which detergents to buy, which includes European detergents. I watched all those Father's day commercials. Funny to see that some of them focus on things getting clean and odourless in one wash. That's something you don't see anymore in commercials. Apparently we have come a long way since then!

Yep!! it reminds me of when i was little and by brother had a spotty dog and he tipped glue on it so mam washed it in our old 1995 hoover softwave and it came out and the spots had come off!! LOL
