Seeing the lights brings back so many memories. But as I remember the 1st and last rinse always heated to 150. And like I said in another post if you used the jetdry the drying was good. This machine was made way ahead of it's time. It would have even been better with a stainless interior and if it were quiter. The cleaning power was definatly outragous especially with the constant water heating.

LOL!!! Damn, that just fits! When the KDS19 is washing, I can't think of a better description... Yeah, this one pulses the fan motor for most of the cycle then just leaves it on during the last part of the drying cycle. When it's water heating, you can hear it alomost boil the water and then the whole dishwasher heats up from the temp. I imagine plastics would be a problem but china, etc. I'll bet it'll do ok...
