the only reason I know is a forum member (Malcolm I think) had a SQ FL washer and made videos of it and posted them here a few years ago, and they do pulse spins between the wash and rinses, not full ON spins...until the end of course.

I found that the PULSE spins on the SQ machine was more than effective in extracting sudsy water while minimizing suds locking the machine.

Yogi, I think one reason the Neptune was able to make the claim of effectively washing such a large load is that the Neptune's staggered paddles move the load side to side in addition to up and over.

on that Neptune put the paddles I see in front load washers now to shame. They are SO small.
