Did anyone catch the premiere of this the other night and if so what were your thoughts?

I'm reserving my review for a later post, but I'm sure the subject header gave it away....:)

I can't wait til they show the new bionic woman in the uk. I love Michelle Ryan, she's a fabulous actress......although Lyndsey Wagner will ALWAYS be the bionic woman in my eyes.

Hi Paul!

Sorry I must email you! Are you on msn or skype?

Im like you Lyndsey wagner is the bionic woman in my eyes but am interested to see the new one if it comes to the Uk.

I too loved Wonder Woman............to a point, I just LOVED Lynsey Wagner..........I actually wanted to be the bionic woman when I was little!!! One christmas I got the Bionic man dolll and my sister got the BW doll............I was sooooo jealous, thought I still managed to play with her more than my sister!!!

I Like The New Bionic Woman

The title above does say it all for me--and while the old series had its charms (including Lindsay Wagner), there's a lot to like about the new series as well, as I make clear in my recent blog--especially against the mediocre "Private Practice" on ABC.

2 thumbs way down

I was mentally preparing myself to be disappointed because NOTHING could ever be as good as Lindsay Wagner and her inspiring portrayal of Jaime Sommers. In that aspect I wasn't let down.

The new Bionic Woman was predictably like much of the mess on TV now. It was dark, depressing, cliched, and hopeless. It was as robotic and synthetic as the parts used in replacing Jaime.

As long as there are plenty of subversive characters to shock the audience, and the standard computer-enhanced action scenes, who cares about developing a positive, winsome lead who earns a relationship with the audience?

Not to be mean but, Michelle Ryan doesn't appear to have anything I would tune in to see for any reason.

A big slap in the face to the original Bionic Woman; they should have left this one alone.
