The only thing that could be better would be an electric dryer. I'm concerned that these front seals are NOL. Mark suggested that new seals might be fashioned after the old ones, if one could find the materials. I bet if I had the materials and a new one to examine, I could run up one up on my Singer 401A with a # 18 needle. Haven't seen one though, so I don't know what would be involved. Where does one obtain heat resistant wool?
I wonder if a small fan (like a computer fan) could be mounted inside the cabinet some how to exhaust the combustion fumes from the standing pilot light? I use a fan like this to blow cool air over my cable box. Mark's idea to place that little blue light behind that flame emblem on the control panel was so cool.
Don, have these machines been serviced? If so, what was the condition of the TDG806's front seal?
Don and Mark, if I'm ever in the Minneapolis I love to meet you both.
