This is hilarious!!!

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

In all of my experiences with these lo life annal retentive, self survient, fettish, hypacritcal, insecure, pieces of shit, they're all the same. They try to make us seam to be too different, too unique, and overly sensitive to their over reaction to our sexual preference and/or in some, not all cases, femininity. They're actualy turned on to this but completely scared to admit it.They're out of they're balls to react naturaly for fear that they may enjoy"coming over to the Wild Side" and get off with pleasure unserpassed, out of control--enjoying that emensely to the point of complete and unserpassed sexual pleasure.A feeling they've never before experienced in their own personal sexual experiences.Believe me,before 1977,most of the men I dated on a one night stance(sometimes a few weeks of nights)lol,WERE STRAIGHT!!!!! The most popular reacton/response to our sexual endevors from them was "No girl ever did me like that!","Why does it feel better?","How did you learn how to do that?","Doesn't that hurt?"Oh and here we go"Ah,don't tell anybody I sucked your dick,I'm straight."Yea right.

I would suggest that you get a life of your own before you criticize others. This is a wonderful site full of people who enjoy the same hobby but more important than that is the friendships that it has built. It's to bad that you aren't a part of it. I do feel sorry for you!

OK Time Out Everyone

Well now listen everyone, I could be wrong, but I suspect Liamwa is a teenager from Calgary. He appears to know quite a bit about his top loading Frigidaire, more than the "average" person would and so he probably does have a strong interest in washers just like us. I suspect he got angry when I moved his duplicate post from the Imperial Forum to the Deluxe Modern Forum where it belongs. Liamwa we have very few rules around here, but one we do have that I try to be strict about is that posts go into their appropriate forum and unless its very important, the Imperial Forum can only be used for Vintage Washer, Dryer and Dishwasher posts. Most people here I know reads all three forums, so enough members would have seen and responded to your post in the Deluxe forum.

Now if you would like to apologize to all of us, I can delete this post and we all can be friends again, its up to you. We would like you to stay and be a part of our family if you truly have an interest in these machines, but we ask that you do follow our rules and respect all of us here. So it's in your hands now, we hope you decide to stay.

If you think about it....

I actually am a gay man who swoons over campy old washers and dryers. And to outsiders, it could seem a little odd, or even hilarious as the OP says.

But yet, you're the one home on a Saturday night telling us to get a life. Where's yours?

It's great to be surrounded by friends here who also enjoy this past time so much. These machines reflect the spirit of invention and joy of a very special era, which is one of the many reasons we love them. I'm glad I am someone who has the intelligence to appreciate that.

So What's Wrong With W/D Swooning?

I think this world could do with a few more people swooning over antique washers and dryers and a few less swooning over drugs and weapons.

P.S.- Does the guy who's working 80 hours a week to pay for a house and a Lexus he never gets time to enjoy, married to a woman he seldom gets to see, with kids he doesn't really know, and a honey on the side he would never be seen in public with, have a life?

if i had a nickel for all the "wrong" things i like. i like men. wearing/applying makeup. liked Disco when it wasnt cool. enjoyed baking and cooking. The Young and the Restless. Joan Crawford. lately ive learned to accept the fact that its ok to have several vacuum cleaners. just because i get a thrill from firing up a cloth-bag Hoover Convertible doesnt make me a bad person.

one thing i love about getting older is realising it doesnt f@cking matter what everyone else thinks!

Washer and Dryers

I grew up wanting to fix everything outside of me, hoping it would fix the unspeakable things inside of me. Machines are fascinating, the sound melodic and the ability to take them apart, FIX them and put it back made me feel manly and proud. I spent 52 years hiding, hating myself and wishing life would end and release me from the never ending prison of self hatred. I got some help and learned more about who I am, how to heal the hurts, insults and shortcomings of a lifetime of ridicule. I may be many things you can't accept or approve of, but here, I am never ridiculed, insulted and made to feel I have to hide who I am and what brings me joy. I am sorry the words used to respond to you were so mean spirited. It makes me feel no better than all the people who ridiculed me, for a lifetime. Please learn who you are and if you feel alone, misunderstood and need support, talk to a counselor and trusted adult. Everyone of us is exactly who we were intended to be by the design of the Universal force from which we come. I wasted a lot of years, miserable, because I couldn't accept that truth. I wish you well in finding what brings you joy.

What I posted was in response to the original posters request. I meant exactly what I posted, and am not sorry for posting it.
I cannot pretend to even begin to understand someones true feelings or intent, unless they express them. Therefore I will stick with what I posted. As I said before, I responded to the posters request.

Ok, which one of you put ben-gay in his panties?

Im so not a gay man.

Swooning over all the old washers?

Damn it!

well ok.......but only in spin cycle.

Apologies

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to apologize to all of you for this ignorant thread. I was having a boring saturday and just thought I'd try to get a rise out of you guys. I did not think however how deeply my comments may hurt you. I had no illusions that someone wouldn't trace my other username and find me out. Kelly thank you for your eloquent words. I know that I am no longer welcome here so I will now log out for the last time and thank you for your wonderful site. I do really love washers and dryers.

Liam

PS
The modern Frigidaire is safe. That thread was a bit of a joke as well. Please delete all my threads if you wish.

Well, Well, now

Easter weekend and someone needs to do a cranial rectal retraction! Married here and my wife thinks it's a "little" weird that I like working on washing machines. But let someone try to take her Frigidaire roller-matic away and the fur would fly. Can we say cat fight! lol Although i haven't had the opportunity to meet anyone from here (except Cristfr here in STL) I have found that they are wonderful people and will help anyone that needs it. Happy Easter Washer People! Mark in St. Louis Mo

Saltysam

I love that "cranial rectal retraction"! I never heard that one before.

May I say I love all our Str8 members here, I feel very protective of them just because you are the rare breed here.

Sometimes we Gays get our backs up quick, its not pretty but it is a knee jerk reaction to alot of attacks from the past.

Liamwa, I accept your apology and hope you truly read Kelly's and Louis posts carefully to a point of real understanding.
I hope you will be able to walk in the sunshine one day.

Happy Easter, Happy Passover and to everyone else Happy Spring YAY!

Hi Liamwa, I accept you appology as well. Tomorrow I will delete this thread. As far as I am concerned you are still welcome here, everyone makes mistakes at some point, but it is good to learn from our mistakes. I think we can move on now and forget the whole thing.

I was having a boring saturday and just thought I'd try

...ma tu guarda!!!

Really a great "toy"! Even me if I get bored I run out in the street and start to insult people to enjoy me after their reaction...???

What a STUPID! :-o

I absolutely don't admit such incorrect behaviour! Robert's right to have made Liam make his apologize.

Thanks Goodnes do still exist people with the head upon the neck!

Unlucky very often get bored could make you what you are not...

Happy Easter!

Perhaps Swishywashy is insecure and wants to hear that that it's ok to like washing machines. Of course it's ok.

I like older appliances/machines/cars/radios & phonos because they were built of quality parts by people and companys that took pride in what they built. I get no satisfaction by using disposable crap.

The worst part of his post was "get a life". You mean watch football? No way!!

Despite it all, kiddo, you are respected for who you are and who you need to be at this point in time.

In life you get as much respect as you give. Sometimes if you meet a truly well-evolved person you get MORE than you have earned. Treasure those who are loving and well-evolved and give, give, give, for they are truly rare.

BORED?
What does this mean? To me it means you don't work enough.
Is your house dusted vacuumed, mopped? Windows sparkling? Garden weeded? Are your closet organized?
Did you call everyone this weekend who was kind to you during the week?
Did you mow, rake and spread necessary chemicals on your lawn?
Did you help your elderly neighbor who is borderline self-sufficient? Did you take them by the hand and squeeze it ans say thank you for their wisdom and attention?
Did you go to the local hospital and volunteer to help?
If you are younger, did you help you mother and father or brothers or sisters or grand-parents today with chores or what THEY need?

Sorry BORED is no excuse for selfish bad bahavior. If you are bored chances are you have a quick mind. Please try to use it for GOOD.

The world is round. All the kindness you give will eventually come back to you 10x over.

I send you light, love, pleace and blessings. Now go forth and SHINE, because you are a unique light unto the world. You are filled with the same love the Creator has built-into all of us.

Stay fabulous. No matter what, you are loved.
