A friend of mine here on the Cape has gotten Over enthusiastic about my Hobby.

Well, He usually goes to the Swap Shop at the Town Landfill almost everyday.

Anything that now looks like a Older Washer Part, he picks up and leaves them by my Garage Door. I am Grateful, but he's got to stop. LOL

He brought me 3 Motors.

The first is or says Maytag on it.

Motor 3

Emerson. Mod. 560NXCHY3779 5 Amp. 115 V. 1725 RPM

These Motors are Free to anyone that could use them. I don't know what applications they are made for but they seem in Very Good Condition and would hate to throw them away.

For anyone interested, e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll send more pics at different angles

I will keep them for a few months and then dispose of them.

I just have too much Stuff. Thanks, Eddie[this post was last edited: 12/15/2010-10:36]

OLD MOTORS

The first motor is from a MT wringer washer probably mid 1950s or older but would fit any MTW from 1939 till the end. The third motor is a WP dryer motor it would fit dryers from 1961-1966 with belt driven blowers. I don't know what the 2nd motor fits I need more pictures.

a 1949 date code can be seen on that 1st delco motor.
the 2nd GE motor almost looks like an oil burner motor, but is
a larger HP rating than most oil burner motors i have seen.

likely from an oil burner

2nd motor sure looks like an oil burner motor-the large mount
flange is to acommodate the squirrel cage blower wheel, shaft
end also drives an oil pump.looks to be late '30s/early 40s
