Tide Total Care detergent

Has anyone in this club used Tide Total Care? The lady who cuts my wife's hair swears by it. I bought Total Care HE Saturday to give it a test spin in our Whirlpool Duet. The first thing I notice is you use more detergent. I have a 100 oz. bottle of Tide with Frebeeze and a 100 oz. bottle of Tide Total Care. Regular Tide states 52 loads on the bottle. The Total Care bottle states 42. What made me notice was when I measured and pure it into the dispenser. I thought I had over measured but then looked at the amount of loads the labels on each bottle.

Once again I think this is a gimmick by P & G to use more detergent.

I've had problems with Tide He liquid rinsing well from my clothes so am reluctant to try anymore Tide liquids. How many suds did Tide Total Care create and did it provide clear rinses?

NO suds

There were no suds what so ever. We have never had any problems with suds with HE Tide.

Swear by it

I have been using it for about 6 months now. My true test for it was using it on some of my silk blend sweaters. I absolutely love it, things come out softer than with other detergents. Items don't fade as much. Colors look truer, and the sec ent is great.. I bought the matching Downy Total Care fabric softener and the combination are wonderful. Does it eliminate my need for Woolite?? No. Do I still use Tide powder for whites? Yes. For everything else I use Total Care. Even my towels look better..

I got some of the HE version on a trip to NY - it's good BUT it smells suspiciously like urine.

Didn't Cheer have something like this called TrueFit or similar?
Whatever happened to that one? It seemed like it was only on the market a few weeks before it disappeared!
